The 1.25" stainless thumbscrew accommodates bar mount installations where the clamped material is thick enough to defeat both the standard .75" and the 1.00" step-up. If the mount clamps securely at 1.25", this is the correct length for the installation. If the material is still too thick, the 1.50" replacement stainless steel thumbscrew is the next option. For installations where the 1.00" was already sufficient, the 1.00" replacement stainless steel thumbscrew is the correct size.
