Before ordering this length, confirm that the .75", 1.00", and 1.25" genuinely do not provide sufficient reach — a thumbscrew longer than the material requires will extend behind the insert cavity, press against the bowl or pail body, and prevent the yoke or insert block from dropping fully into position. If the shorter lengths were sufficient and only a replacement is needed, start with the .75" replacement stainless steel thumbscrew.
