The 1.00" stainless thumbscrew is the first step up from the standard .75" for bar mount installations where the clamped material runs thicker than the .75" can bridge. If the mount still does not clamp securely at 1.00", the material requires more reach — move up to the 1.25" replacement stainless steel thumbscrew. For installations where the .75" was already working and only a replacement is needed, the .75" replacement stainless steel thumbscrew is the correct size.
