The 1.50" is the longest plastic thumbscrew in the Kennel Gear lineup and should only be used when the bar is genuinely too thick for the 1.00" and 1.25" to deliver full thread engagement. Do not use a longer thumbscrew than the bar requires — excess length pushes through behind the insert cavity and presses against the bowl or pail body, leaving the yoke or insert block unable to travel the full depth of the cavity and engage. If the bar thickness falls within the standard-to-moderate range, confirm the correct length with the 1.00" replacement plastic thumbscrew or the 1.25" replacement plastic thumbscrew before ordering this length.
