The Kennel Gear ¾" Bar Mount System is the Piranha Lox® dog kennel bar mount built for installations where the standard ½" mount sits too close to the bar surface. The additional depth of the ¾" mount moves the Piranha Lox® surface mount and any compatible accessory further from the bar, clearing obstructions above or around the mount point that would interfere with a standard installation. Same 2 5/8" clearance between thumbscrews, same anodized aluminum construction, same full Piranha Lox® locking performance — with the standoff distance that constrained dog kennel bar mount installations require.

The distinction between the ½" and ¾" bar mount is straightforward: when door hardware, hinge plates, frame welds, or other protrusions sit directly above or beside the intended mount point on a kennel bar, a standard mount seats against the bar but leaves the Piranha Lox® mechanism too close to the obstruction to engage and release cleanly. The additional depth of the ¾" mount shifts the entire assembly forward from the bar surface, giving the insert block the working clearance it needs to operate without interference. The kennel structure requires no modification.
