¾" Dog Kennel Surface Mount — Piranha Lox® Locking System for Obstructed and Tight Kennel Installations
The Kennel Gear ¾" Dog Kennel Surface Mount is the Piranha Lox® surface mount built for installations where the standard ½" mount sits too close to the surface. At 0.75" deep — compared to 0.50" on the standard mount — the additional depth positions the Piranha Lox® locking mechanism and any compatible accessory further from the mounting surface, clearing obstructions above or around the mount point that would interfere with a standard installation. Same anodized aluminum construction and full Piranha Lox® locking performance, with the standoff distance that constrained kennel wall mount installations require.

Kennel panel systems, crate frames, and door hardware vary widely in how much clearance they leave above and around a surface mount point. When frame rails, hinge hardware, or panel overlaps sit directly above the installation point, a ½" mount seats correctly but leaves the Piranha Lox® insert block engagement too close to the obstruction to operate cleanly. The additional 0.25" of depth on this dog kennel surface mount moves the entire assembly forward from the surface, resolving the clearance problem without any modification to the kennel structure or surface.
The ¾" surface mount installs with the same two-screw process as the standard ½" mount and accepts the full range of compatible Kennel Gear bowls, pails, and other accessories.
